about

Hi, I'm Michael.

gipfeli labs is my one-person software company. I've been a software developer for more than 15 years, and this is where the apps I make for myself live.

Each one starts with something I'm interested in, or an itch I want to scratch. Yolkyard was created because I wanted to track my backyard flock's laying habits; I built Siegrs.GG because games are more fun with friends.

how I build

Built for the people using it

I care about the people who use what I make. Every app should be a genuinely good experience, not just one that works.

No dark patterns

No tricks to keep you subscribed, no guilt-trip buttons, no settings hidden where you won't find them.

Your data isn't for sale

I collect what an app needs to work, and I never sell it.
